Hi I'm Amanda and I'm a surf lifesaver from the United States! I've been involved in lifesaving here in the U.S. since I was 7 years old and been competing internationally since 2014! I'm currently a student at Stanford University in California, but I grew up in New York and still spend my summers there competing and working as an ocean lifeguard.
Competitive Highlights:
Gold in Open and U19 Beach Flags, U19 Board race and Open Beach Relay at the 2015 USLA Nationals
5th in the United States for Open Women's point score at the 2015 USLA Nationals
4th in U19 Beach Flags at Rescue 2014 France
Competed for the United States U19 National Team at the 2015 International Surf Rescue Challenge (1x gold, 2x silver)
5 Junior National titles since 2009 (board race 2x, beach flags, ironwoman, swim relay)
Featured on the cover of the 2014 winter edition of American Lifeguard Magazine
Currently training to be selected to represent the United States in open competition at Rescue 2016 Netherlands
